Brief History of the Royal Mile, Edinburgh

I’ve updated the brief history of Edinburgh’s most famous stretch of road, The Royal Mile. The Mile has a long, and fascinating history; and is still home to a castle, a palace, churches, a cemetery, parliamentary buildings, housing and local businesses.
Quite an amazing street.
